CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
L30 – L35 (£78,725 – £88,983) depending on experience
Responsible to the Chief Executive Officer, this is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to shape and develop a growing multi academy trust. This role is for someone who understand what it takes to work in a complex, fast paced and challenging environment but also has the drive and ambition to build and develop the business from the foundations that are already in place.
Currently, with responsibility for a budgeted annual turnover of approximately £17m, 3000 students/pupils across six schools and approximately 350 members of staff, this role requires an individual with an outstanding track record of experience in operational delivery as well as the drive and insight to help Cumbria Education Trust evolve as an organisation. You will inspire and drive cultural change, and be able to work in partnership with a range of partners and individuals with agility and ease.
Above all, you will be committed to providing outstanding services and positively contribute to CET’s vision of providing an outstanding educational provision.

Salary – £29,323 – £31,601. Full time (37hrs), full year.
The role will include a variety of responsibilities which will include employee relations, recruitment & retention, HR policy development and day to day advice and support to the six schools based across Cumbria. You will drive the HR strategy on all aspects of people management. You will be passionate about recruiting and developing the right people in order to ensure the continued success of CET.
Although the role will be based at CET’s offices in Brampton, the postholder will be required to work across the Trust. This will involve regular visits to all CET sites.

An exciting opportunity has arisen and CET are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Administrator to join its central services team. The post holder will provide a first class front of house, and high quality administration service to the CET Team including the Clerk.
The post holder will be based at CET offices in Brampton, however travel to CET’s other schools may be required intermittently. Hours of work will be agreed on appointment.
