KS5 Co-ordinator Maths/Teacher of Maths

Full time from 1 September 2019

Workington Academy require an experienced Maths Teacher to teach across the 11-18 age range with a particular focus on post 16 teaching. Experience of teaching ‘A’ Level maths and the ability to teach further maths is essential. A TLR5 (£4189) is available for co-ordinating post 16 provision for a suitably qualified candidate.

This is an exciting time to join Workington Academy as we are part of a forward thinking and innovative Multi Academy Trust who are committed to cooperative and collaborative approaches. We invest in our staff with excellent CPD and by ensuring that they have every opportunity to grow and develop.

This is an exciting opportunity for a well-motivated teacher who is:
• An excellent classroom practitioner
• Creative in the ways they work with young people

The school is committed to safe recruitment procedures and applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS.
