During November CET schools took part in the Donut Challenge with Cumbrian business Bruce and Luke’s.
The business is a coffee and donut shop with branches in Carlisle, Keswick and Gretna. A new branch of the business opens in 2021 and is a car wash/ donut drive through. Luke Jackson from the business has worked with schools within CET over the last few years and as a young local entrepreneur is passionate about young people being aware that they can run a successful business without moving out of Cumbria and has been a speaker at several careers events. Luke said he was honoured to have been chosen by CET as their chosen business for this challenge.
There have been some fantastic entries ranging from celebrities, footballers, mountains and lakes, as well as some specific car wash based designs.
