Permanent Midday Supervisor – Caldew Lea Primary School

Caldew Lea Primary School is a school very much at the heart of the local community it serves. It has a long and proud tradition of educating and inspiring the children of west Carlisle. The Trustees are seeking to employ an excellent Midday Supervisor to assist in securing the safety and welfare of pupils during the midday break. This will involve effective supervision of pupils in and about the school, as well as positively interacting with children to play games together etc.

Caldew Lea became part of the Cumbria Education Trust in the Autumn Term 2019; it is led with shared vision, honesty and purpose. We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Midday Supervisor to join us as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will:
• Be happy and proactive in engaging children in play.
• Have a positive and purposeful approach.
• Be able to work with a variety of age groups.
• Be able to manage incidences of non-compliance and playground issues in a sensitive and effective way.
