Salary Grade:  Grade 5 – FTE £21,968 p/a

Actual Salary: £16,504.86 pro rata

Required from: 01 September, 2023

Hours: 32.5 hrs p/w

Status: Initially fixed term until 31 August, 24

Weeks Worked: 38 term weeks + 1

Caldew Lea Primary School is a school very much at the heart of the local community it serves. It has a long and proud tradition of educating and inspiring the children of west Carlisle. The Trustees are seeking to employ an outstanding teacher who is creative, imaginative, highly motivated and committed to improving the life chances of children.

 

Caldew Lea became part of the Cumbria Education Trust in the Autumn Term 2019; it is led with shared vision, honesty and purpose. CET is a growing multi academy trust based in Cumbria; it is committed to creating outstanding, innovative and inspiring learning environments for our schools and their communities. The successful candidate will be joining CET at an exciting time, as we continue to build on our successes and move forward on our journey to establish ourselves as one of the highest performing MATs in the North of England.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join the School at a pivotal time and be part of our vision of providing an inspiring and innovative education for the pupils at Caldew Lea Primary School.

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic teaching assistant to join us as soon as possible. Ideally, you will be an experienced TA willing to work across all year groups.

 

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a good communicator committed to being part of an effective support team within the whole school community
  • Set high expectations and have a commitment to supporting learners to achieve well
  • Be self-motivated, adaptable and reliable
  • Have experience of working with young children with SEND/SEMH needs
