Longtown Primary School

This is a community school, dedicated to educating the children of Longtown and the surrounding area from ages 3 to 11. Being part of a larger organisation enables them to access a wide range of resources and expertise from both the primary and secondary schools within the trust.

Longtown joined the trust in 2016 and, at its most recent Ofsted inspection, achieved a Good rating for the first time in its history.

Most of its children move on to secondary education at William Howard School, thereby enabling Cumbria Education Trust to provide continuous education from three to 18 for children in the catchment.
