This evening Cumbria Education Trust (CET) directors, members and Local Advisory Board (LAB) members joined school leaders for the annual CET Governance and Leadership Conference. This year’s conference was held at the Castle Inn Hotel, Bassenthwaite.

The programme included: the new Ofsted framework, Pupil Premium, developing effective central services and looking at the next steps for CET.

CET is now responsible for the education of almost 4,000 students across three secondary and six primary schools. It’s vision is to enable each young person to reach their potential by providing an innovative and inspiring learning experience for students aged 3-18. The schools share the same core values, Respect, Responsibility and Resilience, as well as the motto ‘Be the best you can be’.
