Safeguarding Training - Level 2
What does the Level 2 course entail?
The CET Level 2 Safeguarding CPD is a more in-depth level of training for individuals working with children at risk, building upon the foundational knowledge of Level 1.
It is designed for staff who regularly work with vulnerable individuals and have a professional responsibility for their safety.
Level 2 training provides a platform for the knowledge and confidence to identify and act upon safeguarding concerns and participate in safeguarding processes.
Key aspects include an understanding of the thresholds, how to identify and respond to concerns and the responsibilities of different agencies, what happens after a referral and an insight into how the relevant legislation applies to the role.
