CET’s Trust Services is a team of people who look after various departments, that support schools and allow Headteachers and teaching staff to focus on the important things – school improvement, teaching and learning.

Led by Marketing and Communications Manager, Pippa Goodridge
Communications and Marketing
The Communications and Marketing team covers a range of support, including critical response communications, marketing and media support. Each school’s website is managed in-house by the team.
The team supports admissions and recruitment, staff recruitment, professional development opportunities and engagement with key partners.

Led by Data Services Manager, John Hedges
Data and Insights
The Data team produces detailed statistics and insights on each school, using multiple internal and external sources.
The team collate insights and monitor results against national standards, so that Headteachers and leaders can make informed decisions across the Trust.

Led by Primary Estates Manager, Mic Horton
Estates
The Estates team manage the buildings, grounds and facilities within each school. They ensure that all schools are compliant with health and safety, including building regulations, fire safety and accessibility. They also carry out risk assessments and compliance audits.
The team are on hand to manage any emergencies, such as flooding or building work.

Finance

Governance
Our strong Governance is a key element to school improvement. Each school has a strong Local Advisory Board that supports and challenges leaders for the benefit of young people in each school.
This feeds into the Trust Board, which oversees all aspects of governance throughout our schools. There are various committees to support schools, such as the School Improvement Committee.

Human Resources (HR)
We have a dedicated HR team that manage payroll and recruitment for all schools.
The team works with key stakeholders to ensure CET attracts, supports and retains a range of people with the right skills, knowledge and values. CET is committed to building a team that is principles-led, outcome-driven and puts people at the centre of the organisation.

IT Services
The IT team are responsible for the IT infrastructure within the Trust, ensuring that our schools have the necessary ICT equipment, networks and systems to enable them to teach successfully.
Our team of technicians provide support to our schools, staff and students, to ensure teachers have everything they need to teach and students have everything they need to learn.

Operations
Operations play a crucial role in ensuring that our schools run effectively and efficiently.
The team works hard to ensure regular website audits are carried out to ensure policies are up-to-date and in line with Ofsted requirements, and supports schools with documentation and other areas of support that they require.

Led by Head of Safeguarding, Gill Creighton
Safeguarding
We have a dedicated Safeguarding team who focus on pastoral systems, behaviour, attendance and safeguarding. All safeguarding practices, policies, culture and leadership are under tight review and the team are always ready to take action to offer same-day on-site support for critical safeguarding incidences.
Everyone at CET prioritises and is passionate about keeping children safe and protecting those at risk.

SEND
We have a strong SEND provision for vulnerable groups, in all Trust schools and via wider collaboration.
Our team works closely with each school within the Trust to support vulnerable young people, ensuring that the right support is available at all times for individuals. They also provide complex case panel meetings to problem-solve difficult cases.
